I've been having this issue for a few months and it seems like the only solution is me slamming the hatch hard.

- I've replaced the Tailgate Lock Assembly
- tailgate handle works fine
- battery seems healthy. Granted I haven't tested it but car starts with no hiccups and that would contradict with my current solution
- I've disconnected the hood latch sensor already

Extremely frustrating as that Tailgate Lock Assembly was not cheap and I was hoping that was the issue. Does anyone have any ideas what the issue could be? I've Googled the hell out of this and it seems like disconnecting the hood latch sensor worked for most people but unfortunately not for me...
