2008 Hona Fit AC blows cold for the first 10 mins or so then warm until youve parked
Hi all
Been having this issue for awhile, I initially thought it was just low on freon I got a charge and the AC still goes warm after 10 mins or so.
Ive tried to troubleshoot, Ive checked all the fuses they all look good, I think Ive narrowed it down to the condensor fan but I need some help:
- When it is blowing cold the fan and compressor are spinning, when it goes warm I noticed the fan stops spinning and when I go to turn the blade with my finger it starts to spin(stuck fan?) again but its not cold its still blowing warm
- With the AC and blowing cold the compressor is spinning and still spinning when the AC starts to go warm and still spinning when I turn the AC off
Any ideas?
Thanks in advance
Edit: One other thing I noticed is when car starts initially and I go to turn the AC on there is a CLICK noise and its blowing cold but when the car blows warm air and I try to turn the ac off and on again there s no CLICK noise does this have to the with the comprsssor?
