Replace radiator without evacuating AC condenser
Replace radiator without evacuating AC condenser
Hello,
GD3 sport manual owner here. My radiator is leaking and I bought a replacement. Service manual says to remove AC condenser to take out radiator, I really don’t want to do that but I notice that there are AC hoses in the way and not much space between the engine and front frame to slip in the new rad.
is it doable to remove the fans and slip the rad through the tiny gap in front of the engine or does the condenser have to come out (which requires refrigerant refill) ?
