I have an ‘07 Fit Sport that I picked up for cheap. I’ve had the car 6 months and it’s generally run well. I’ve put -5k miles on it.

I have been using a key that looks like an emergency spare. (The battery is dead on the key fob that disarms the anti-theft. It has been dead since I bought the car and the other key has worked.)

Do I have an anti-theft issue?

 

Have you tried putting a new battery in the dead one? They sell little kits online— previous owner gave me one. Idk much about this but I do know that sometimes these security features act funny
