26R Battery retroFit - ongoing

Current setup: 51R main + 51R aux
Retrofitting:26R main
  • more space for planned intake mod
  • positive terminal fuse block mod
  • mod tray to accommodate 26R securely
Picked up the donor battery tray from a local scrapyard.
- my Fit is a manual transmission
- donor piece was from an automatic; drilled out 7 spot welds to detach supporting piece for manual-trans battery tray

*updates to come*

Get one of these Knukonceptz battery terminal jobby-doos and you can keep your positive cable and main fuse. Even with the 26R's stupid raised battery caps.

If you have access to a 3D printer you might try this...

I don't, so I haven't.
