Unhappy Door Lock Actuator Problem

If the doors are all unlocked, my key will remotely lock all the doors except the drivers door, and also unlock all the doors except the drivers door. But if I manually lock the drivers door, the key will not do a thing remotely. I thought it was the lock actuator and just replaced it, a satanic job if there ever was one, and it has not changed it one bit. Any ideas?

could it be that the shackle is out of position a bit? My rear door started acting up and it was because the shackle on the body was loose and preventing the door from locking on it.

Thanks, but no. I think it's a broken wire somewhere that would cost a fortune for diagnostics and replacement so I'm just going to use the key manually as I have been.

I just started having this problem myself - haven't replaced the lock actuator, just the key fob's battery. Please update if you have any luck! For now I'll also be locking/unlocking manually lol

I'm going to replace the drivers side door wiring harness. Did it a number of years ago when my left tweeter stopped working. Opening and closing the door a million times in a winter environment can result in wire breaks. I think everything else in the system is fine. Will update you soon. Thanks.

Tried replacing the harness

I tried replacing the harness but the one Honda Automotive Parts sent me was the wrong one, and I made the mistake of partially removing the old one without double checking. Unfortunately manipulating the old harness partially off and back on resulted in the additional issue of my drivers side window not working. I guess that reinforces my belief that the actuator problem is a broken wire. Luckily the window was all the way up at the time. But getting it partially out revealed its correct part number, 32751-SLN-A102. There are only one or two places that stock the one I need, listed as 32751-SLN-A10. I have a request for refund/replacement in to H.A.P. and will see what they are willing to do before I spend the bucks on another one. Will continue to report.

The new wiring harness solved the problem. Everything works now. It's not a fun job. It's not the actuator. Good Luck!
