2007 GD 5MT transmission oil

Hi guys, sorry if already asked but any suggestion for the transmission oil for MT? Honda should provide the MTF-3 , but I've read that it's just mineral and some synthetic would work better. But I just replaced with Motul 75w80 and the results are horrible... Better to stick to Honda MTF-3 or anybody knows an even better oil?

Thanks,

Stefano

Honda Genuine manual transmission fluid is what I did. When I bought my Fit, the owner had taken it to a Valvoline oil and lube location. Shifted like crap. Drained it and went with Honda Genuine.
Noticed the difference right away.

if you live in an area that gets freezing cold temperatures, you might consider amsoil synchromesh. I find it marginally better than Honda MTF, which is already excellent.

i go with Honda MTF because it is nearly half the price of synchromesh but the amsoil is great. You’ll have good results with either.

Thanks guys, not particularly cold where car runs. I found some Honda Ultra MTF-III at a reasonable price (here in EU) and I will share the outcomes.
