you forgot to mention that the GE8's softer suspension from factory makes it slightly less nimble than the GD3 too

of course, aftermarket upgrades will make a world of difference - in which case i have no doubt in my mind that the more rigid GE8 would out handle a GD3 with the same amount of suspension work.

there are no reviews of the us spec ge8 except for in edmunds and c/d.
and neither of them concluded this.
the reviews i've read on caranddriver.com and autoblog.com say that the new Fit is not as tossable as the old one. they blamed it on the 2009 Fit's new found "refinement." it's my mistake for reading that and assuming it meant the new Fit has gone soft; i have yet to test drive one so i have no real arguement there

what it all boils down to is that whether or not the GE is "better" than the GD, i will still love my GD the same way DA owners love their cars in relation to the DC's
