Gd Up!
sorry, i'm confused. what part of my post are you referring to? softer suspension or more rigid ge8?
the reviews i've read on caranddriver.com and autoblog.com say that the new Fit is not as tossable as the old one. they blamed it on the 2009 Fit's new found "refinement." it's my mistake for reading that and assuming it meant the new Fit has gone soft; i have yet to test drive one so i have no real arguement there
what it all boils down to is that whether or not the GE is "better" than the GD, i will still love my GD the same way DA owners love their cars in relation to the DC's

the feeling of tossability that ONE of the reviewers from c/d was referring to was in reference to how the gd3 is on all the time, whereas the ge8 is more subdued and then goes when asked. but the steering and grip and overall fun is the same, per both the reviews.
despite what the masses of stifly sprung honda drivers would say, stiff and bumpy does not always equal good handling. just ask bmw. and older civics. and the cb7 accord.
