Attn. Photoshoppers!

Can anyone good with Photoshop do a quick rendering for me of what the Fit would look like with a 4-6 inch roof chop? I think it would actually make it look a lot better - less bubbly. Someday when I have money, I think this is something i might seriously look into doing.

Thanks!
Doug

He wants to lower the roof by cutting 4-6" off the sides then re-welding the roof back in place. This process was made popular in "hot rod" styling that started right after WWII ended, and hit its peak in the 60's and 70's. The metal fab and custom glass would cost a fortune on a Fit, but good luck.

Yea it would probably be expensive, but I think it would look really cool and would differentiate MY Fit from everyone else's.

No takers on the photoshop job? This is terrible...

I agree that it would be fun and interesting as an exercise in Photoshop. I don't use it often enough to even try this project, but I hope that somebody else does it for you.

this was my best attempt at chopping it like 4 or 5 inches.. doesnt really seem too noticeable.. maybe if it was REALLY chopped like 8 or 10 inches then it would look crazy.. lol

I think that you'd get the effect that you imagine by slanting the chop at a more downward angle toward the windshield- 6" off at the front, little or none at the rear.

that's interesting. doesn't actually look like i thought it would. some of those first chops made it look a little like a focus. i'm not entirely sure i like it...
