CONSUMER COMPLAINT: 2008 jack ???

never use unless I have to -- when ever I rotate tires etc. I use floor jack.

You guys should see the jack that came with my friend's Audi A4. It's a piece of crap and you'd expect them to give you a better one considering the amount you're paying for the A4

really, this is just kinda dumb. All scissor jacks suck and are bare minimum for roadside. In my truck I put a hydraulic bottle jack from harbor freight, like 20 bux and it always works. Even my hyundai jack made it through at least 10 flats. I take scissor jacks out of my old cars and keep them so I can use them to get my car high enough for the low profile racing jacks to fit underneath. My accord is down over 3 inches and has OEM body kit.

And if you are lowered and have gorilla ramps with the fit, you can take like 1 foot strips of 2x4 and put them in front of the ramps, so it lifts the body kit up to where you can get on the ramp, thats how i do oil changes in the fit, its safe, easy, secure.

i doubt Audi could make a scissor jack that is reliable considering their vehicle reliability ratings.
