Someone stole mine a little over a week ago . Was parked at my buddies while we went on vacation. We called his parents when we had service and they sprung it on me. So lame.

Oh I also had muteki locking lugs. Tow truck guy said it was sitting on blocks from the nieghbors garden and was about 1 inch off the ground.

That sucks, big time!

What about putting different wheel locks? (ie. 1 from Honda, 1 from Acura, 1 from the brands they sell at auto parts stores, etc., etc)

I wonder if those thieves will have all the universal locks.

Is there really anyway to prevent this is if they are determined to steal your rims?

Unfortunately, no. Locking lugnuts just slows them down for a second or two.

wheel locks are nothing to somebody who knows what theyre doin. easy to get off, all they do is make the owner feel a little safer and keep the newbie thieves away. you can get good money for new tires. get good money for the rims as well ;[

you dont need a key for the locks to get them off, you can get em off quite easily.

there is a fancy socket that slips over the lug and is able to take any lug off. my mechanic showed me one time when i lost my lock for my lugs on my integra.

the best theft deterrent is Rotas. they are harder to re-sell than OEM 15" wheels.
