Has anyone had the engine code P0497 pop up? My car only has 12600 miles on it and I am wondering if this is a potentially dangerous problem. According to the web, the code has something to do with the emission control system regarding a purge do hickey. Any help would be good.

 

your car is still under warranty, the best advice would be to take it to a dealer.
