Wheel width question

Wheel width question

I planning on going 15x8 on the rear but i wanna see it first before I do it anyone has pictures of 8 inchs on the rear of their FiT? i'll really appreciate it.

Hmmm...8", you better go with a pretty good offset, min 44 probably.

Nah that's to high of an offset. You coulod go @ least +35 easy and be semi flush with the fender.

i've heard you can't even run 8" wide wheels without doing fender mods.........
idk for sure tho, i wanted some sportmax 501's 15x8 with a 0 offest

^^The 0 offset will need some fender work if you're lowered

15x8 with 15 offset looks hard enough

my brother had 205 50 15's on the front of his crown vic. 295 50 15's on the back. same rim size front and back. 15x7

A 195mm tire is about 7.67 inches. So you'll have about a 1/6th of an inch worth of stretch on either side.

nope i would hardly call it a stretch
my friend is running 15x8 +25 with 195/50's it hardly has a stretch to it

when i go camping i don't shower for days, not too bad of a stretch but FAR FROM IDEAL

With a 44mm offset and an 8in wide wheel pretty sure itll rub on the strut and rear inner fenders.

A 15x8in wheel needs at the HIGHEST a 30 or 35mm offset.
And thats hard to find in an 8in wide wheel.
