Removing Window Visors

Soo.. What's the best way to remove some Mugen Window Visors? They're on there pretty good with the sticky tape and I don't want to damage the visors so I can sell em. Is there some method or trick to get em off nicely?

if it's foam tape you could try dental floss to cut through the foam and then clean up the goo on the visors and the car.

Ditto: Dental floss should work, followed by goo-gone or a similar orange-based cleaner for the adhesive.

park it in the sun so it softens the tape up first

not sure if you want to rub something hard like dental floss on the matte black paint. it scratches pretty easily. if you do, i recommend you use some wd40 to lube it.

i would just heat it up with my IR lamp and then gently pull back from the ends little by little. btw, make sure you dont forget to remove the brackets first.

I recently reapplied mine because they were lopsided. I pulled down the weatherstrip, twisted the clips out of the way, and started at one end slowly and very very carefully lifting it off the car. Luckily I didn't break them. There was an assload of tape that took me all afternoon removing so I could apply new tape...which looks kinda ghetto btw. I should just get new ones lol good luck!

I feel you! thats kinda why im getting rid of mine. too much hassle to remove tape and reapply. i bought my mugen ones used and i didnt even bother removing the old tape.. and also there are leaks from me taping it somewhat bad. so im like **** im jus gonna sell it. the visors are in 100% great condition though, just dont want to deal with the dam tape.

yeah the tape is a bitch. I figure eventually I'll sell my used ones for around $100 shipped once I get new ones so I can box the old ones up in the same box lol
