Yes, I mean road racing. You should defiintely try out SOW (Streets of Willow). I'm sure you'd have a lot of fun at that course.

The Fit doesnt come with a rear fog in the bumper, so it wont be "JDM."
Mine is in the tail.

Off.

On. This was the old LED bulb. My new one is probably 5times brighter. Heh

The bad part about it being in the bumper is you can never go back.

I never new the JDM taillights had a bulb specifically to be a fog light. Is it only on the left side or both?

It doesnt. I cut wires, voided my warranty and MADE my rear foglight.

I only have it on one side as its more correct that way. I only have one reverse light also.

Rear foglights are something I think of as being more EDM (European) than JDM. I see them a lot on German iron.

My Impreza has a bulb in the taillights for foglight use but it is not wired up in the USDM version. I did my own wiring and hooked it up to come on with the front fogs. I drive in fog and rain often enough to appreciate having the extra light output back there.

I'll have to take a closer look at the Fit and see if there is anything there by default that I can exploit, muahahaha.

HPDE are not races, you will probably get beat by someone thats experienced in a rental stock camry. Its about learning to drive. Experience will make you faster not your car. If your truely interested in performance driving go out stock, or as you are now and learn.

I like the light on the Mugen RR

Exactly it might go back to Volvo in the 70's and most German cars at least since the 80's.
My Swedish brother in law says it required to have it.
But JDM adopting it would make sense, lots of coastline and some mountains so plenty of opportunities for fog in Japan.

Another way to do it is add a relay and a switch and use your 3rd brake light. No major altering of the car, and higher up like that could be better in the fog.
The cool part about what Ray did, is he added some European flair to his car as that is the way they usually do it. In one of the tail light assemblies

The rear fog light is european market specific, its just nice to have since not alot of people know what its actually for or something different others find trick.

The JDM Led tail light doesnt have a rearfog application, the OEM lens are only suitable for 18W bulbs, not 21W rearfog bulbs which can melt out the reflector base inside or worse the plastic lens outside.
Mine:

On

Off
