I mean, i've had several rear-enders, and it wasn't bad luck at any time. It was me being careless and inattentive! The last one i had, i assumed the guy in front of me would go through the yellow light! I would have! He didn't! I slid into his trailer hitch! Duh!!

Just tonight, i had some bad luck coming into my driveway and scraped the bottom of my fit's front lip! No really, i was mad at my teenage son and went into the driveway too fast, and scraped it. Never let your temper get the best of you while driving. Don't throw stuff at other people, either, like phones and junk. They break, and you lose all your contacts and it costs money.

Not to turn this into a long boring discussion, but part of what has gone wrong with this country is that nobody wants to stand up and take responsibility for what they do any more. It's "bad luck," or "not my fault," or "i'm the wrong color" or "my self-esteem is bad." just own up to the sh!t you do and fix it. (not talking to the op, but all of us.)

Neither situation is conducive to furthering society, but it is an unfortunately mainstream occurrence in the U.S. That's not EVERYONE, but a majority, so there's no point in getting pouted if you don't fall in as a statistic.

There are no impoverished people; only impoverished environments. Poor or Wealthy, no one sucks - the circumstances that surround them, if they allow them to, suck.
