I screwed up!

I would like to add to any and all the DIY posts out there on installing tails the following statement. When we say "you may have to stretch some of the wires on the passenger side" What we mean is: you are gonna have to bust damn near every connector holding the tail-light harness to the back end of the car in order for the wires to reach. I think that would be very helpful, as I was expecting the wires to be maybe an inch or two too short and they ended up being about nine inches shy of reaching on the passenger side. All the other problems I had were entirely my own fault. Now on to the Skunk2 install DIY LOL

LOL! you're absolutely right! Dude, i dont understand how some people say they have succesfully tugged on the harness and got a few inches out of it. I tried tugging on it, and it wouldn't budge! the only thing that moved was that plastic wire insulation tube thingy. lol! so i had to watch youtube videos to learn how to solder.

This whole thing makes me think of the Honda factory on Friday at about 4:48 PM as Tanaka-san is installing the last rear hatch wiring harness of the week. Hes thinking " Oh snap, this one is too short, it will only just barely reach the tail-lights, Oh well f%*ck it! , its 5 o clock somewhere!" I guess each Fit is a delicate little snowflake, no two exactly alike.
