I read an old post wondering who makes the dampers for the kit. It's Showa and apparently KYB made them for a couple of years for the civic.

Maybe the 5 way adjustable are KYB?

Update:

I just got them installed and HOLY SH!T what a difference. I've got a brand new fit. Steering is tight, less road noise, much better cornering. What I noticed the most was pulling away from stop lights and braking. Much less diving. No bouncing! I feel like the car's wheel base has been stretched a bit.

I will post pics soon but I want to let it settle a bit over the weekend.

Cool!!!I just got my Showa/Spoon setup installed by Gimme this pass weekend and I love how it responds..especially for DD...

FYI they did needed to be drill out on the front from 17mm to 19mm to fit the USDM bolts...

Ya I saw your post yesterday on your setup. I think you might be a bit lower than I am. The Mugens lower the FIT about 20mm. We have the same shocks, I guess the springs and rates are different. They are great for DD.

King Motorsports drilled them out for me. I could have done it myself but the warranty would be void if anything happened to them.

How long did it take for your springs to settle? I want to take some pics and post them but not before they settle.

It took about 50mins to install including thedrilling of the holes. Then I drove about 70 miles back home and it was settled already.

OK I'm going to post some pics. I'm not sure if it's settled all the way yet. Here is before and after. I have HFP wheels to go on for summer. I'm hoping to put them on soon. We're supposed to get a bit of snow this weekend.

Drop is very subtle. I like it.

before

after

LOL that's what I thought too. I did some measurements before and after and I'm lowered only about 14mm. I think the angle of the pics aren't the same. It is very subtle. I'm not a lowering kind of guy anymore.

I've had two Civics and an Accord, all lowered on springs and coilovers. Honda's geometry changes a lot when lowered more than an inch and I don't like how they ride or handle plus all the parts you wear out from added suspension stress.

i totally agree with you on that. i'm actually thinking of raising my Fit up a bit to get closer to factory camber. all these guys talking about hub failure at 30k scares me haha.

did i already mention how jealous i am of your setup?... oh yeah, i forgot.. i'm not speaking with you
