oil burning

oil burning
I admit I wasn't diligent in noting the oil level when the dealer changed it last, but I was surprised when I saw that it was close to low. I added a bit to get it back (about 1/4 quart) to almost full.
Have there been problems with oil burning on these cars? I see no evidence of leaks.
Thanks

well there shouldn't be any oil burning at all. look under the car and see if u can see any oil spots. usually on imports there's a gasket on the drain plugs that have to be replaced every oil change. if u don't replace them they wear out.

But yeah, the function is the same.

Thanks for the note. I hope I don't have that issue but I'll definitely keep an eye out for it!

I check it often, so far it doesnt seem to be leaving the motor.
Last time I did an oil change it was close to a quart low. So far its staying full.
I havent lost any power and my MPG is still great so I know its not rings.
Plus, if it sits for a while at idle and you tap the gas itll puff blue smoke.
My guess was rings.
