Hi all.

i am considering buying a 2004 Jazz VTi-S here in sydney.
the only thing that's putting me off the idea, is that the car has a LOT of km's on it for the age.

it has 173,000 km on it !
the body and interior appear to be in really good condition, so this could be an indication of how the car has been maintained, but you never know.

it has the CVT / 7 speed sport mode trans too.

my question is what should i be looking for to make sure it's still in good shape ?
Are there common faults with the car i should be looking for ?

i assume that being a Honda, its basically bullet proof in engineering terms,
but that also assumes a full service history too ?

i will be looking at / test driving this car tomorrow (Saturday here) and i need advice.

any input will be gratefully accepted.


forgot to mention that i drive a 2007 VTi on a semi regular basis, and i love it. the car is not mine, so i don't live with it on a daily basis. but it has pushed me towards buying the 2004. my budget will not allow anything newer.....
