Question Fit twin size mattress?

Would a twin size mattress fit into a 1st generation Fit? How about a twin size boxspring?
I need to move my mattress and boxspring and would am hoping that I don't have to rent a van to move this stuff, if I can squeeze it into my Fit..

I fit a twin in it. It probably wasn't the smartest idea as it blocked my vision, but it can be done.

Were you able to fit a boxspring as well? I figure it would be easier to fit the mattress because it is bendable, but a boxspring may be more difficult?

I fit a twin boxspring AND matress in the back easily! hung out about 12 inches and I left the tailgate up... (I may have been able to fit in a third!)
