All Season Floor mats

Hey guys,

I was at the College Hill Honda Website and I was looking at the All Season Floor mats. As I was looking through their instructional videos, I noticed that there was a hook that came with the floor mats to keep them secured.

My floor mats came with the car when I first bought it, and there was no hook piece to keep the floor mats in place. It keeps sliding in when I enter the car and I always have to fix it.

Does anyone know where I could find that hook?

There are two holes at the end of the floor mat to connects to the carpet area.

Here is the video I was talking about:

Here is the hook:

omg. I was wondering why there were 2 slits in the carpet. I thought I accidentally did that! Try going to the dealer for the hooks. You're not gonna just find those hooks most likely. I need these mats, badly.

the mats should've came with the hooks as part of the package. if not, call collegehonda and get your hooks.

you have to cut the carpeting a little bit and snap the hooks into the floor.

Yeah, that's the problem... And I didn't get it from Collegehill Honda.

The worse thing is I had the car for almost 2 years and I didn't realize this until now.

I'm actually selling the OEM All-Seasons for the front only. See here. I'm not selling the hooks with it tho because my weathertechs use them. At least if I knew where to buy additional hooks maybe I could get a pair for the mats I'm selling.

These hooks can be picked up for around $5 from your dealer.

If your dealers around you are like the ones here, they're asking about $150 or more for these mats. I bought mine on eBay for $92 with the hooks included. Look around and you can find better prices than through the dealer.

On the GD3, the only seat position that doesn't have hooks is the left rear. I'm guessing they figure that most drivers won't want anyone sitting behind them, or something like that.

I personally didn't have any problems with the passenger side. I have people coming in and out from the passenger side and it doesn't slip like it does on the driver side.

Nonetheless, thanks for your help, guys.

if you bought the car new and the dealer didnt install the hooks, they could be liable for damages cuz they couldve slid under the pedals etc.. its irresponsible on their part for not installing the hooks, id go to the dealer and say something.. its a real safety issue..
