Exclamation Where can I get HOOKS for FLOOR MATS?

After hearing bad things about Honda all weather mats, I went ahead and ordered the Weathertechs. They look great, and quality appears top notch but... no mat hooks! So the mats do slide around a bit.

Does Honda sell hooks? It doesn't seem like it.

Any hook alternatives out there?

Search threads [not posts] for floor mats - there's a few running, you might find them informative. Honda dealer does sell the floor mat hooks, shop online for best deal. Not sure they'll work for you, however.

Surprised to hear the weather's slide around.

The only one that seems to slide is the driver's side. I'm guessing it's cause it isn't all carpet beneath the mat.

The only aftermarket alternative I saw was a Home Depot rig. Rather than do the nuts and bolts thing, I think I'd rather try something anti-skid.

One thing I can't figure out is if the OEM hooks attach to metal or carpet. If it's only carpet, seems like the carpet would start to come up or tear sooner or later...

OEM hooks are actually cut into the carpet. Look here:http://www.collegehillshonda.com/ins...seasonmats.pdf

I bought the driver's side anchors from my Honda dealer's parts dept. for a bit over $5 apiece (you need 2). But as Krimson Cardinal said you do have to cut into the carpet to install them.

I'm getting some anchors from Lloyd's since those are the mats I have and the Honda anchors don't fit them.
