30k MAintenance

I'm at 30k, do I really need to take it in for maintenance? I heard that 60k is more important but not sure. Does anyone know what they do exactly?
How about prices? most dealerships charges $379-400.
A friend said he'll do it for $200. Worth it?

Benefits of owning a Fit: No scheduled maintenance for 100K

Just keep up with your oil changes, tire rotations, and air filter changes. Later on down the line you'll want to maybe change the transmission fluid and bleed the brakes.

Just follow the maintenance minder and don't worry about set arbitrary numbers is how I see it.

I would change the transmission fluid at 60k miles and keep track of your oil changes and tire rotations. You should be fine until 100k.
