Cool I finally have one!!

Yes my fellow Fit driver's, i finally have a Fit its an 07 A/T with only 15000 miles i driven it for about two days now and i must agree with everyone when i say that the Fit is very fun to drive.

and i'm 5'4" and i loved the fact that i was able to practically able to stand in the car (well with my head bent lol) made me want to buy something tall. the back has already been used to load old tires. i LOVE the fact that there is SO much room that can be made.

*signs* really is a great car

Yay! Congratulations! That is really low miles! What a find! I'm the same height too, and was trying to figure out where to locate the kitchenette in my FIT. There is so much usable, accessible space!

Since we're the same height, what do you think about the driving position? Some folks have said it was too high up, but I think it's PERFECT for me anyway. I have the GE version, though.

So, what color is your new car? And what color is the interior? I saw somewhere, something about a tan or beige interior??? Maybe only available the first year? I don't know, I forgot to follow up on that.

Congrats!!

Too high up?? ppl complain about that? i have no idea why ppl would say that it's perfect for me.

the color is vivid blue pearl..this might sound bad though i love the color but i really wanted a taffeta white (hoping to change it to white in the future) but i couldn't pass this car up school starts nxt month and i didnt want to take the chance of not finding one in time.

interior is black, though the middle of the cushions are kinda a grey color

yeah i got real lucky with the mileage

Positive Rep for you!

This thread makes me happy because when I saw the title "I finally have one!!" I naturally assumed it was a new GE8. Thanks for bringing me back to the good old days when we used to be able to congratulate people daily for their new GD3.

Maybe they are used to cars that have low seating? Or they are really tall? I don't know. I know in my mum's CRX, the car practically swallowed anyone who got into it, especially she and I, since she was shorter than I am.

Couldn't see our shoulders from outside the car. Just little heads. LOL!

I have white. I really had wanted the GD version, but when I was looking around, the prices were really high. And a new GE was less expensive. Seriously. I'd been looking around last late summer and into winter. The used GD Sports were more than a GE base.

I'd even seen a GE in a parking lot and thought I really would rather have the GD. I don't understand why car makers start out with a great car, and then change it. Make it bigger and heavier and ... You know what I mean?

I'd probably leave the car in the color it is, because the factory jobs are usually better than anything done aftermarket. And it's a nice color.

You should be able to enjoy your new ride for many years to come!

well i really cant afford anything major for it right now. For the moment im just gonna tint the windows. Ive been told by friends to lower the Fit but quite frankly the streets can be craptacular so the whole idea of having to go really slow in order to not mess up the car is just something i do not want to do.

I might go for some stiffer shocks but I am always having to be careful to not scrape the front lip as it is so dropping it is out of the queston..... Everyone that drops their car complains that their dash rattles also.

Im dropped 2 inches all around and I havent had no problems with the dash, but speed bumps is a whole different story.
