Sorry to be the 500 person to do this

But I just got my 08 black sport 5pd Fit. WOW is all i can say. Far better than my expectations were (which were very high btw). I got it with 10 miles on it, and "was going to just drive it home" I live about 5 miles from the dealer, and I have 30 miles on the odometer now,i took a few detours My detour consisted of some interstate driving at 70mph up about a 5% up-grade hill, and i was shocked that my Fit kept 70mph very easily even on the hill. It shifts smoothly this is coming from someone who has never owned a manual before either. The stereo is great, and handling is wonderful, a little more reactive than I am use to. Really impressed.
When i can scrape some cash I am going to get a cai, window tints, and few other things.

I got the same car a few weeks ago and love it too.

My wife wants me to drive my old car more to save the Fit? I got the Fit to drive it, so why drive the old SUV? People are crazy sometimes?

Congrads. Great color choice btw.

Now for the mods. Look at the xmas sticky for some ideas.

Tom.

I didn't get a chance to do any detours on the way home from the dealer when i got my fit... but I think 25K miles in less than a year shows how much I love sitting behind the wheel.

Grats on the new car!

Or maybe, she wants you to "save" the Fit so that SHE can take the Fit for some "detours" while you are gone.

hahah, i'm still that way with mine and it's about a year old. it's even my daily driver, but i don't drive it anywhere besides work if i can avoid it simply because i don't want to rack up even more miles (almost 17,000!) and paint chips.

Thank God! Another WV Fit driver!!!! Yeah!!!! Good to have you on the forum. I've been here since Feb. when I started to look into getting the Fit. Finally got my car this May from Lester Raines Honda. There are a few more Fits in the valley and it seems that the dealership sales them as soon as they get them in. Maybe we can see about having a Fit meet sometime this summer if the numbers keep growing. Your going to have to get use to the looks your car is going to bring your way. I've even had a Mazda owner take a picture of my car going down Rt. 60 in South Charleston! LOL! You'll enjoy this forum lots of great people and information on the Fit and latest news to keep up on what is happening with the car.

Congrads and welcome!

Cat :x
