No interior plastics issues on mine...and my GD1's older than most of your cars.

Mine made a creaking / groaning noise when the window would finish rolling up. The glass would settle back down into the door a little while it made the noise. The inner door panel also would move if I pressed the window switch "up" while it was already all the way up. I probably could have lived with it, but got it replaced just barely within warranty...
