Mobile 1 advanced fuel economy

It's 0w-20 full syntheic, any thoughts? I just put some in seems run slightly smoother.

lighter oil will have less resistance on your engine so you might get better mpg but the wear and tear on the motor will increase as well since the oil wont lubricate as well.

Wear on lubricated parts is not deopendent on the viscosity. While 0-20W synthetic will pump easier and get into yhinner gaps, that has no beareing on the lubricating ability, or the ability to get two adjacent moving parts from comming in hard contact.

I tried this on my wife's Fit. I actually saw a decrease in MPGs with the same driving conditions. Went back to 5w-20 and it's been back to normal.
