can a 2007 Fit be towed behind a RV with 4 wheels down?

I just ran across this old thread while searching for something else. I can't believe you were being serious when you suggested towing a manual trans. Fit while it was in gear??? Please tell me you didn't try it. What a great way to waste fuel in the tow vehicle and create unnecessary engine & transmission wear in the towed Fit. It would even increase front tire wear because they'd be rubbing on the road more to turn the engine over with the resistance of trying to compress air in the engine.

I read it so that there would not be any issue with manual transmission unless it's left in gear.
