car dies when not driven for a day
I'm going to lay blame on your 'music box' being too much draw on a weak Honda battery. Once you get it started the alternator keeps it running but all the time that amp is drawing far more current than the alternator can produce so its depleting the battery.
Next time you stop see if you can restart in about 5 minutes. If you can't, your 'music box' has too much current draw and if you completely disconnect there may be enough after an hours driving to restart next time. However, Honda has had such problems with the batteries that it may be 'worn' out and only a new battery will fix. And a lesser current draw amp.
I have the same problem happening. Car not starting if not driven for more than a day. I have had to jump it 3 times this winter.
I am trying to get the battery replaced under warranty but Honda refuses because when they test it, it always checks out normal the Honda dealer. But I believe that is because my nearest Honda dealer is a 45 mile drive @ 60 mph. Of course the battery is going to be good and charged after that trip....

I had a similar problem on my '07 Jazz GD1 in the winter two years ago;
Several days in a row I had to get it jump-started with starter cables from another car. It worked fine all the way home, in the morning the next day I had to get it jump-started again.
Measured the battery and it was fine, measured the alternator/charger and it was ok. I also have an voltmeter on the navigation/multimedia system (Pioneer AVIC-HD3BT) so I could monitor it all the way, and it was charging fine all the time.
But it was really cold weather, around -15°C in the day and colder at night that week.
On the Friday on that week I took the car for a long drive (about 800 km), and after that it worked fine for a few weeks and then the problem started again.
Then I realized that in those week I had trouble, I was driving just from home to work and parked the car there for a day or two and just drove back home.
After the second week with trouble I started to take the car for a longer trip once a week (longer than 1h trip). And I have never had that problem after that.
So my conclusion is that in cold weather the charger is just to weak to top off the battery with just 6-7km drive two times a week. I also heard from a colleague of mine that he also had similar problem in his car (another brand), but he had a car that is almost 10 years older than mine. He does use the car the same way as me and he has also noticed the charging problem in cold weather, and it was he that told me to take the car for a longer drive once a week to top off the battery.
