Is there a DIY for installing struts?

I used the search function in a couple forums and I couldn't find a DIY for installing struts. I know how the fronts come out from the spring DIY, but is there one for the rears? I assume it is simple, but pictures or instructions make everything easier.

Thanks!

its the same for installing lowering springs.

there is in the DIY.

the rears are super simple. take off the caps in your cargo area....undo the bolt.

go to the bottome where your shock is attacted by 1 bolt and undo that and you got it.

really really simple.

but for the fronts the DIY has everything.

Let me know if you have any questions - I just did an install over the weekend. It was pretty easy. What type of struts are you installing?

Unless you are experienced with using a spring compressor, you shouldn't do that part yourself (front). The R&R part maybe if you are somewhat mechanically inclined.

And remember to keep the front rotor/hub assembly propped up to keep the axle(s) in or else you might hate life.

I'd suggest getting a spring compressor for the fronts just in case you ever want to swap back to stock. I had to do that with my coilovers to springs. The rears are ridunkulously easy. Just make sure you have the right tools such as a good allen wrench.
