Hey all been awhile since ive been on here, but I have a question. My wife just called me and told me when she shifts into 5th and accelerates (doing about 50-60mph) The car starts to shake. The car has sat for about a week in the snow....I doubt this could be a problem but i know the last time i drove it it was fine. Car has less then 30k on it...08 Fit Sport manual. Anyone heard of this?

 

Snow in yer wheels causing an out of balance.

In the movie "My cousin Vinnie" with Joe Peschi's Caddy convertable it was caused by "mud in the tires" LOL

 

Yeah she called and said it stopped after a few minutes....thnx for easing my mind though!

 

Probably moisture in the tires freezing and collecting in one spot inside the tire. When she drove it they warmed up and thawed. It happens.

 

And how exactly does one get mud in your tires?! LOL
