TC, that may depend on what part of the
Appalachian Mountains the wedding is in..

My friend Rod and I have hit two show back to back that we knew our cars would not get looked at and no chance of winning. One shows offered an import trophy but decided to make it a memorial trophy to honor this man that owned a VW Beetle. There was only one Bug on the lot and it was no show car. Had wires hanging from the dash, lots of dents and rust but it won because it was a VW. We had a good conversation with the president of the show and said it was nice to make a memorial trophy for this gentleman but it should be a VW only competition and then they should have a trophy for the import who is not a VW. There were 4 imports on the grounds beside the VW. This show even gave out the Sexiest Corvette trophy we all just about barfed on the Barney Fife impersonator! Then yesterday we showed at a classic steel show - tons of nice classic cars. Again we had a good conversation with the people in charge and they did say they would consider putting in an import class next year. So our job is done and now we go back to hitting shows where we know we have a chance. Yesterday I must have answered the, "What the heck is that on the front of your car" question 50 times! LOL! Can we all say "tow hook!"

Yeah, im not sure what is going on. I see the TPMS light up before i start the car, but once I do, i dont see the light. I should ask the previous owner if he knows anything about it... strange

Well, the guy I traded my tires for is no longer around, but the light never went off... i guess that's a feature and not a bug.

Might be able to do a day shoot with one or two fitters so we can get some moving shots. I'm free all week btw!

Don't get too excited my setup is Kmart quality and I have no idea what I'm doing so it may just get scrapped for now until I can afford the head unit and real setup that I want

I haven't bought stereo stuff like this in almost 10 years and I don't know what it is but everything involved in this project seems like it is more expensive then the sweet system I used to have I tried to do this on a small budget and am already over my budget and its not even installed. I thought I could make it happen but now I'm just over it and will probably sell this setup to someone who has the time/money/knowledge to make it work

Hey mine is wired to stock head unit. Sounds good to me. All our cars need are a little bump to equal out sounds. There is a DIY to wire amp to stock head unit. Very easy to do. With as much as you have done to your car, wiring is easy.

Heres a pic of my setup

I made it out of 3/4 MDF to fit between wells. Also kept it low to be able to install rear strut bar (that i still dont have). Then rolled it out with a house paint roller with Line X truck bed stuff. After that dried i rolled it again with flat black. It matches interior very well.

Painted the engine cover and installed ssr intake. Works great!

This weekend I may detail the engine. We just and a few huge dust storms and everything is filthy.
