What did you do to the GD Fit today?
Dude your wife paints cars? Thats super HOT. Mine barely puts gas in hers (maybe once a month). Thats it, she just drives and tells me how she wants it done.
She painted the roof on my fit black if u haven't seen the pics. Looks super good. She also fixed my rear bumper and doors when I get door dings. It's nice. That's kind of our thing in common and how we met. We were both in an automotive trade school.
Which is fine with me, less maintenance on my rydes, she has no problem with taking the public transportation system and I don't argue with that.

Changed my oil and filter today with Mobil 1 and K&N as usual. Also reset my ECU and did the Idle lean learn procedure. It does run much smoother now, and the butt dyno registered smoother acceleration too.
Also sold my winglets and shipped them out.

A quick check is go to an auto parts store & have them do a load check, it could be something other than the battery or along with.

but if it's the original bat. you have dun gud!

My battery has been in service for 5 years and 2 days.... I have to make mounts for the tiny Deka ETX14L AGM battery I already picked up to replace the original which will be going into our 95 GMC pickup.
today I put on my FLORIDA FIT SQUAD decals on

Thanks for chiming in Big Mike!
Took the battery out this AM. Got info from auto parts store, not in stock and said can get one for me on a 3-day turnaround for around $90. Another store didn't have a clue. Wasn't showing up on their computer. Couldn't load test a dead battery so took it home and slow-charging it now @ 2a. Didn't want to leave it at the store. We'll see if it holds charge.
Walmart $70.00
Installing the 51-4 Battery
Took out the OEM battery and installed the 51-4 battery and it is 25% bigger than stock. It still fits in the opening. There were a few things to do to make it work.
1. The battery tray will need the bottom edge trrmmed so the larger bat. can extend out further.
2. The positive cable will need to detatched from the bat. top cover (white arrow tip) and where the cable is attached to the metal suport ( push the black clip and pull up) this will give you about 3" of extra length.
3. The negative cable is the one point were the whole placement is started. the dry fit is tight but doable.
4. The tie down is reused and works just like OEM.
5. Enjoy the 500 cca and added size and let's see if this will last more than 3 years like the OEM
Hope this helps B4 you start this upgrade

I had this for almost a year and it's been great I have a lil amp/sub and can play it with out killing this battery.
Here's a pic after installation Subie:
