Anybody else still waiting to hear from Honda on the window control recall???

 

Did they just announce this??? i hvnt heard anything about that... what is the problem??

 

go to your local honda dealer, they will fix it. wait, you are both in canada. not sure what the procedure is up there, but here, they sent me a letter in the mail explaining the recall and to bring the car in for repair. i got mine done a month or two ago

 

i got the letter but too lazy to take it in.

 

Go here and type in your VIN number. It will tell you if you are part of the recall.

I have never gotten my recall notice even though I verified mine was included on my Honda Owner web site. I took the car in for WV State inspection and the 15,000 mile check up. Since I left the car all day with the dealership they just went ahead and fixed that recall for me. Lester Raines Honda - is outstanding in customer service.

Got the recall letter in March
Took the car in on 29th March and got it done
Dealer kept the car for one day

 

Got the letter...had the dealer fix it and hand them change the oil while I was there...2 birds...1 stone

 

got the notice brought the car to the dealer, didnt have any in stock, said theyd call me when they got them, month and a half later still no call and no parts

 

Got the letter, called the dealer, made an appointment for the next week and they did it in a day. But that was in... April maybe?

 

Not going to bother with the recall - it's only a problem if your window is down in like a hurricane or something. I got a letter way back in January maybe? I don't care. But they will probably harass me next time I go to the dealer.
