Did you ever find a place? I am considering installing them, too, and live in Atlanta.

Hey there,

No, I never did find a place that had experience doing it, but quite a few places like Quantum Mechanics in Decatur said they'd do it, but it'd be like 200-250 bucks and no warranty.

After asking around plenty and reading the instructions a few times, I went ahead and did it myself.

In hindsight, it was very very easy. Just be patient, methodically mark out your holes and you'll be done in under 2 hours. Honestly, the most difficult part is simply getting the rails placed parallel.

Good to hear you got it installed. I called Yakima whose website said to call about the track, and they said I had to call Honda, so I did. Honda just said that it is not recommended. Due to the side curtain airbags, it has me scared to drill into the roof, although I would assume that it would be safe to drill on the seam which is covered by the black strip. Is that where you installed it? Do you have side airbags?

Nah, I drilled just a couple inches in (whatever the instructions said, like 1.5 inches inward and 10 inches from the rear spoiler) and I didn't run in to anything. I've got a 2008 Fit Sport, but have no idea if that has side air bags or not.

I actually learned about this entire process via a buddy of mine who was living in Oregon, literally down the street from rackattack.com. That's who did his, so I sorta fed off of him and them for some feedback.

Here's a picture of mine. I forgot to put the little aero cleat on the front of the right hand side before I took this pic.

Excellent pic. Thanks for posting! I should have realized that the strip could not run along the seams since they are not parallel.
