A few days ago i went to start my fit and when i turned the key to key on i heard this grinding noise coming from the passenger side. since than it does it everytime i put it at key on. is this normal?

 

Is your's a manual? Maybe something in the way of the flywheel? Maybe something grinding on the starter brushes? Sometimes debris gets lodged in random places. Hopefully if you can have someone start your car and you can listen in on key areas for the noise. Try narrowing it down.
