Hey everyone,

So yesterday after work, I went to start up the Fit and when I stuck my key in the ignition it felt like the key didn't even fit. I literally had to force the key in all the way to start it and when i went to take the key out I had to pull on the key to get it out of the ignition. It just feels like its really sticking inside the ignition. This happen to anyone? I thought maybe the cold weather had something to do with it but this didn't happen last winter.

 

Check the key. It might be bent slightly. This happened to me; static shock, I pulled my had back quickly, key bent, wouldn't insert easily into the ignition key-hole. Had to gently bend it back straight.

It is weird indeed.. Checked my key, doesn't look bent to the naked eye. I'll have to get the dealership to check it out during next oil change which is coming up soon.
