Wiring in the steering column. I'd recommend getting it fixed, or, like me, you'll spontaneously find yourself in the grocery store parking lot at night with no working low beams.

the funny part about this is i heard about the recall the very day it came out in the media!!!! about a month ago. so i called the stealership and they told me my fit was fine!!!! wellllllllll, lo and behold, guess what i got in the mail two days ago??? yup, you guessed it, the recall notice from Honda corp. fockin' cheese ball dealers, they suck, suck, suck, suck, etc. ironically, i've been very slothful about getting to the dealer to fix my switch...

you should tell Honda to be flexible and suck your balls while bending over backwards, crab style. at the end, make them say "what a fabulous window treat"

Three times! My 2007 Fit has been recalled for: wiring under driver floor mat; wiring in power windows; and, wiring for low beams headlights. The work on the low beams--that I am having done tomorrow--will make the THIRD time the car has been in for recall work.

Since all of the recalls have been for wiring issue of one sort or another, generally having to do with possible corrosion, it makes you wonder what is next?

so no issue with the hid's, i've had tons of mods on my previous cars including race headers and stuff and never have they said anything. should be okay unless its related which is why i'm asking about hids.

they found it the next day. i was mad so i went to talk to the manager about it and he offered me a free oil change and i was like i change my own oil ( besides i wouldn't trust you guys-you guys lost my keys!) and so i asked him to give me 4 oil filters and so he did. so i guess in the end it worked out. but they reconigze me at that dealership b/c my si has been there for numberous repairs.. haha i know they don't like me.

FYI, even though mine was repaired for actual failure about a year ago (see earlier in this thread), Honda required my dealer to 'redo' the repair with the official warranty procedure. Took about an hour.
