I got a 08 honda fit. I've found a set of snow tires on honda rims. before i buy them i want to make sure they'll fit.

the size is 185/70/r14.

can anyone help?

Tires are a little bigger than the stock 195/55R15, I forget what the non-sport Fits run... 185/65R14 I think? Your speedo will be off by 3.2%. You could run it, if you don't mind the speedo being off (and thus your mileage will be off)... and if you're not lowered, cause if you are, then depending on how low you are you might have rubbing issues due to the slightly larger tire. If you're not in a rush to get winter tires on, I'd probably keep looking.

the car is stock. the stock size is 175-65 r 14.
im ok with the speedo being off a little. I gladly trade that for the wife being safe with snow tires on the car.
