i have 15x7 +35 and it slightly rubs on the front and on the back on hard dips on tein springs...it probaby would be less if i ran 195/55/15 tires, im currently running 205/50/15... haven't rolled the back lip or tucked the fender lining yet, but i doubt it'll rub at all after...

Don't bet on the 195/55x15 being better. the 205/50x15 is 23.07" and the 195/55 is 23.44" diameter. Before going farther mark the tires with shoe polish to find out where the tire is rubbing. If its on top of the tire you won't improve. if its on the side you have a chance.

it rubs up front slightly on the clip that holds the fender lining... the back it hits the fender lip on the tread of the tire... i think the -5mm width on the 195/55's should make it clear.... but i will most likely have my fenders rolled before then, prob get 16's and go wider...

I'd say 16inch from my experience.

I wouldn't lower it anymore than 1.5 in, if that helps to figure this out.

Pretty safe specs are minimum offset 45 mm if lowered (or not) and 42mm if stock ride height. Generally speaking 195 and 205 section tires are preferred keepnig the diameter at 24" or less. Less to 23" if lowered.
The bigger the wheel diameter the narrower the section.

15x7 with a 35 offset is about as low as i would go if you dont want to rub

195 - 50 tires are a good fit too.
u a gambling man?

i bet the above rim size will rub when lowered

remember stock offset is 55mm!!!

People please check dates. This thread was bumped up by a new guy trying to get his 20 posts. The op has rings by now im sure.

Ryan is on eibach sportlines with sparcos. Tire rack sells sparco, but try for a civic. Tire rack wont sell you a set in +38 offset for a fit.
