GD3 recall notice?

Has anyone received an official notice of the headlight recall in the mail? I've got to get an oil change soon and I'd like to get them both taken care of at once.

Yes I got the power window switch recall a well as the wiring harness under the driver's feet. I was wondering about the most recent recall. There was some talk of notifications being sent in January. Perhaps the dealership can do the work regardless of whether I have the formal recall notice. It won't hurt to ask. I'm not that fond of hanging out in the Honda dealership so I had hoped to save time by combining visits.

Saturday

I talked to my Honda dealership today and apparently although they've not done one yet it's on their records. It apparently takes several hours and involves the removal of the steering column. Between my 30K service interval and the recall I'll be hanging out at Honda on Saturday (sucks).

necessary

It's gotta be done. They have internet access and I'll take reading material. There's been no "unscheduled" maintenance (breakdowns) on the Fit so I guess I'm due for some quality time at Honda.

most

I believe most are affected. There have been several threads about it. "low beam headlights may fail" or something like that. Apparently it involves a switch and requires the steering column to be removed. I'll find out for sure on Saturday (if I don't HAVE to work ).

recall fix

The time required to fix the recall (some wiring) wasn't bad. I had my 30K service and that and the recall took two hours. From what they told me most GDs are affected. Your Honda dealership can tell from your VIN if you're affected.
