If so, I got a question for you....

Is it possible to open the rear hatch when bikes are on the rack and the rack tilted down completely?? Been told it might not be possible ...

Thanks for the help!

I used one on both an 08 and 09 Fit. I think it is one of the best racks out there. My only issue is that I have used roof racks for so many years that I returned to the roof rack route. I was to paranoid watching my bikes out the rear view. To many people tailgate these cars.
On the T2 the weight of the rack itself caused a small amount of sagging on the rear suspension. If you have light bikes, no problem. For a lighter rack check out the new Kuat racks. I have never used them but they seem to have potential.
Yes you can open the hatch.

Got one

I have a Thule rack on my 07' and it is great, I even have put two kayaks up there. No problem on the rear hatch with the peleton bike carrriers, they are awesome and rock solid.

I use a Thule T2 on my '07 Fit. You'll have no problems opening the hatch with bikes loaded and the rack tilted down.
