Hey guys, does anyone know if I can retrofit the 2009 upper glove box into a 2007? It seems like that panel is removable and I'd love to have the extra storage. Thanks -aaron

 

If you were able to do it, it would likely prevent the airbag from working properly.

 

There seems to be a big empty space in there and the air bag pops out up high on the dash. From what I remember of the 2011 I looked at it seems it should fit in there fine. I'm not exactly sure how the air bag deploys though. I'm just going on the little picture in the manual that shows it popping up and out. Messing around with anything near the airbag could be bad though.
