Aw come on...I have some Rotas...they aren't great. I bought them because they were cheap and I wanted 15x7.5 et20 (not on the Fit, I test fit them but didn't drop the car on them...needed fender rolling and I'm not molesting the fenders) Need to sell them to some Honda rube.

I think any real guy can rip on Rotas. So many put them on cars where the oem Enkei wheels are far superior. And NOT knockoffs.

You just aren't that cool when you buy cheap parts for your car. Just another cheap person trying to look cool with budget wheels.

Not attacking his character. I state facts. And I'm chill, I spend maybe 5 minutes a day on this site; you guys just make it WAY too easy with your ignorance. (not you in particular)

Im a long term honda guy. I have parted out cars, but not to get out. To start something new. Rota is my only shit part, and I love stiffness.

Did you buy a "cheap fit" yet ? Or is under 10k only getting you knock offs?

I have Rota Slips which are knock off spoon sw388s, and have had and will continue to have Rotas on other cars. You are a tool if you are spending nearly $2k for wheels on a car that cost less than $20k loaded from the factory or trying to make someone feel bad or inferior for not doing so.

The mental gymnastics required for such a leap of logic are astounding.

Kindly go f*ck yourself.

You will find Rota's on 1000whp drag and max effort road course cars. I have never had one break or any issues for that matter.

I have better things to spend money on then some stupid rims.

This debate can go on forever and ever (which I have seen). The fact is, some people prefer to have the real deal wheels and some prefer not to pay for them, so they choose the less expensive route.

I've never owned a replica set of wheels in my life, but no longer hate on Rotas. There's a market for them...simple economics.

And I agree, it's hard to justify a $2,500 set of wheels for a car that costs less than $15k. Some will, some won't. I personally would buy inexpensive wheels that aren't considered knockoffs (IE: Buddy Clubs).

With a rota or other knockoff wheel you are getting a reverse engineered copy of a wheel which was originally forged, made with Enkei's MAT, Flow Formed, etc. Rota uses the same wheel design (everything is the same, spokes sizes, etc) but with a VERY IMPURE LOW QUALITY ALUMINUM and the cheapest manufacturing process.

YouTube - ‪Dangerous imitation wheel !!‬‏

@ Bthast (or whatever your name is): If I'm a follower, I'm proud to be one. Although its tough to be a follower when you've had wheels that 99% of 'import/car enthusiasts' have never heard of, aka 1 of 2 or 3 sets of that wheel on the continent.

You're just one of those guys who just tries to justify buying shitty parts. You're not a true enthusiast. You just do this to look cool, you'll be one of those guys who parts out his car because he's "getting out of the game" once you realize you don't like how stiff the ride is, people think your car looks immature, etc.
any proof that rotas are dangerous? can you post some link/s regarding car accidents due to rota's poor quality? just want to be educated that's all

He cant prove that. He just follows the rest of the I hate rota crowd. Now if you want some pics of bent kosei or enkei I can help with that. Rota is not junk. They do however copy designs cant argue that point. Go to any road race or auto x race and see the amount of rotas versus "real" wheels. Rota is certified at many events. Are they unsafe? I highly doubt that. Of course bent rims happen all the time, but I have not had a rota bend yet. My kosei and enkei yes bent those. On potholes no less not even at track.

Spending $2k on wheels doesn't make you any more of a enthusiast then the guy that spent $300 on wheels. The true enthusiast are in this hobby because they love it not to chase the next fad. When you stand there and try to put down the guys that buy the cheap wheels all your saying is you feel like a dumb ass for buying the expensive wheels and only got them because you thought every one would respect you.
