Hello there guys! i just bought my Honda Fit GD1 Model 2001 last month. And I am here from Japan. And the mileage of my car when I first got it was at about 39,900. I am not sure if it is in miles or is it in km?? can someone tell me. and if it is in km? I think that is too low, don't you think guys? or is there someway that the mileage can be cheated or something?

My 2007 Fit was purchased on May 17th and I just rolled 27,000 miles! I have a very short commute to and from work. Rod and I car show all over WV but it hasn't added too many miles on the car. My plan is to keep the car into retirement and drive it until it cost more to repair. I am hoping that will be many years from now! Have to say this is my first Honda but definitely the most favorite car I've ever owned or driven.

Now over 135k. No one that sees the exterior or rides in it believes the mileage.

I think all the coilpacks have been changed, I replaced an original-style one 2 weeks ago. Rear struts have been replaced at some point. That's about all I have noticed on the car so far. I got it in December.

Japanese car using kilometer, i think its normal, because milage is different in every country, here in indonesia a 100.000 km cars are considered very old, because of the traffic condition here, and the road infrastructure.. my honda jazz now hitting 170.060 km where in indonesian standard considered to be a very old man.. hahaha

110K on a 2007, largest repair so far has been new brakes and rotors a few weeks ago. This week needed new Battery Series 151R 151 was also the price. Motor seems stronger than ever and doesnt use a drop in 3k.

I'm at about 107K on my 2008. One coil needed to be replaced and the battery had died a year ago. Tires were changed at... 68k if I remember right. I've done a trans fluid change and valve adjustments. Keep up with the oil changes and valve adjustments and you should be golden.

You have to also realize that people in Japan don't drive the same distances that we are accustomed to in the United States. So that kind of mileage could be very normal.

Thank you guys for the info. Now I don't have to worry to much about the mileage of my car. I'm still getting used to living here in Japan, still I don't know much around here that's why I have lots of questions haha. But, good thing is, I'm loving it here!

Nice to meet you guys and be safe!

~144000 on mine. AT flush, new plugs, 2 sets of front brakes, pretty much the usual maintenance.
