I'm surprised I missed this thread, how was OP concerned about 70k miles on the car? Japanese cars busted through the 100k mile expected lifespan back in the 80s; you can expect pretty much every Honda you buy to make it to 100k miles unless you crash it. In fact I would say, with even minimal attention to maintenance 150k is likely.
The only thing that could alter that is if you get a raccoon stuck in the air intake.
