Not fully satisfied with my Megan Coilover drop

Not fully satisfied with my Megan Coilover drop

I want to lower the front just a bit more. I set the preload and lowered it to the max and still have about 2 finger wheel gap.

Are you sure you are doing it correctly? You are threading the bottom portion of the coil right?

yea. I locked the 2 rings where I set the preload and I loosened the third ring to twist the whole threads/coil into the strut. That's the max drop I can get from the Megans for the front. It dropped a very tiny bit more after the suspension settled though.

im on the megans as well, and it's unfortunate that this is as low as we can go. well, as far as the brand is concerned. i do wish i could tuck tire on the megans though... oh well.

just watch for wheel rub on your wheel well it can destroy tires be safe pothole can be the enemy to depending on where you live and bottoming out in parking lots be safe used to work in a tire shop cars came in with lowering kits some i was wondering how they held together from the scraping

u can take out the locking collars and only keep the one holding up the spring for the front!
