08 Fit Sport - What do you think of this deal?

I wanted to check to see what the Fit community thought of this deal.

2008 Fit Sport 60K miles $9500 stick shift black

It books over 12. I am just worried about a lack of warranty. I found 09-10 Honda Certified Sports for between 13,200 and 14,500.

It is between the Fit Sport and a 2010 Yaris Hatch 3 door (8k miles, $11,996)

I have the same car with a 5yr, 100K warranty. Last Fall there was some clunking going on over bumps, holes etc, nothing to dramatic but I took it to the dealer, the Tech and me took it for a ride it clunked as we were going back into parking lot. They could not find anything wrong but replaced the struts and a few other things, about $900 before labor, cost me $50 There was about 68K on the clock then and I needed tires very bad, could this have caused the front end problems? prolly not, but who knows? I'm not trying to scare you, If it did come out of my pocket I would have done the work myself except the alignment. Good luck.

The Fit holds value extremely well so just go for the newer ones. They may cost more but they usually have significantly less miles.

I went to check out a Yaris today. They are pretty lame, I just don't feel anything when I get in. I love the FIT. The driving experience is really solid.

I am going to spend some more if I get one.

I think it is between a 2010 Fit Sport manual and a 2013 Hyundai Accent manual Hatch.

The Hyundai's always look kinda "meh" to me...you know you want a FIT.

Cars for Sale: 2008 Honda Fit Sport in Union, NJ 07083: Hatchback Details - 323930083 - AutoTrader.com

I think this is a solid deal if I can get the price down a few hundred. 2008 Fit Sport for 10,900, 46K miles.

The Fits seem to hit 13,500 and up for a certified. Any really good deals are automatics and I just won't buy a slush box.

I can't float that new Accent. It is too much money right now. I would like to keep it between really cheap and 12000. I have an 08 Kia Spectra5 I am looking at for 8500 (stick, 43K mils). I am probably getting that if a Fit doesn't work out.

2008 Honda Fit $10,995 - Union Volkswagen - Union, NJ 07083 Dealer

I bought her.

I had a deal signed on a 2008 Kia Spectra5 - good little car, good deal. The manager at the dealership didn't want to let me have the car without the check in his hand, even with a gurantee and more from my bank. I had the papers ready to sign and everything.....
The manager didn't want to deal and was rude when suggested it was a little ridiculous. He talked down to me and we had some public words. (not proud of that).

I left and went to my second choice (due to price) and picked up a 2008 Fit 46,000 miles, 10,999, $12,400 out the door. I really do like it, solid little car.

It is a fun little car. I had driven one before I even looked at this one. It was a backup due to price. I HAD to buy a car today or not for a while as I sold my WRX before I moved to NJ.

FIT - I really like it. I like functional cars, I like a sporty feel. I like to shift, which I do a lot with the 109 HP.

Yeah, it is really slow, but I like driving it. Most of the roads here in NJ where I live are hilly and curvy, fun to drive.

We have a 2007 Fit sport. Bought it in 09. LOVE it. When my wife and I were looking, she found a good deal on a Dodge Caliber that she liked. So we went and looked at it. I was not impressed. The interior so cheap looking, not to mention boring. She really wanted to buy a car that day. Happy wife equals happy life. So, I was looking at the ride from every angle trying to find something I could like, something that would allow me to feel ok about buying it. As I was looking from a certain angle at the back and side of the Dodge, I see this white little sporty thing a few cars down. Is it a Honda? So I leave the Caliber and my wife and the dealer and rush over to the white car. IT IS A HONDA! Now I am excited! I do a full circle around the Fit and hop right in. I fell in love immediately. Took it for a test drive and bought it!

I love this car! Almost had it 3 years now. Without a warranty mind you. Not one issue with it. Hope you enjoy!!!
